EP Energy EPES261LS is a 125 kW / 261 kWh battery energy storage system (BESS) designed for commercial and industrial use, suitable for outdoor installation. This fully integrated solution combines a LiFePO₄ battery pack, power electronics, intelligent battery management (BMS), and active liquid cooling into one pre-tested unit.

The system is ideal for electricity price arbitrage, optimizing self-consumption of solar energy, managing peak loads, and providing reliable backup power. The pre-assembled system enables quick deployment and offers a safe and long-lasting solution for demanding operating environments.

EPES261LS is designed for industrial properties, logistics centers, commercial properties, farms, public buildings, and other sites where the goal is to reduce electricity costs, increase energy independence, and ensure electricity supply even during power outages.

If needed, the capacity of EPES261LS energy storage units can be easily increased, as up to a magnificent 24 units can be connected in series!

Batteries, PCS inverter, BMS, EMS, and liquid cooling in one pre-installed cabinet — accelerates commissioning and minimizes installation connection points.

High energy density LFP cells, low-loss PCS, and precise liquid cooling maintain peak efficiency in both charging and discharging cycles.

Starting from 261 kWh, and with parallel connection, multiple units can increase capacity according to customer needs. With the EPGW4/8 power distribution cabinet, up to 24 EPES261LS energy storage units can be easily connected in parallel to the same site.

Liquid cooling and heating maintain optimal battery temperature across a wide range of temperatures — from Nordic winters to summer heatwaves. In case of a power outage, the EPES261LS transforms into an efficient backup power source.

Multi-level BMS protection, aerosol fire suppression, continuous remote monitoring, and seamless transition between grid-connected and island modes.
